What is Tui Na Massage?
Tui Na is a Chinese therapeutic massage technique that uses kneading, pressing, and stretching to balance Qi, relieve pain, and promote healing.
This ancient practice focuses on rhythmic compressions and manual techniques along the body’s meridians. Its english translation is ‘Push-Pull’. Tui Na is a cornerstone technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Tui Na uses rhythmic manipulations such as gliding, kneading, and percussion etc. along the meridians of the body, to promote circulation and lubricate the joints.
Tuina practitioners also use their hands to sense and assess the distribution of energy within the body. This allows them to influence the flow of Qi, bringing harmony to both the physical and energetic systems while addressing chronic pain or promoting relaxation. Tuina offers a deeply revitalizing experience for the mind and body.
